Challenge and Objectives

Beam Group, BISSELL’s UK representatives, were looking for an established route to market for quality, refurbished units across the complete BISSELL range.

Beam required a financial and environmentally sound sustainability solution to fill the recognised demand for refurbished units.  It was essential that any partner needed to have an understanding of both Beam and BISSELL’s core brand values and be able to mirror those across marketplaces.

Their intent was to partner with a provider who could take on all aspects of the marketplace management, including listing development, promotions, fulfilment, and customer service as well as recommendation on marketplace channels.

Our Approach and Partnership Strategy

XS Items were able to provide detailed marketplace research, analysis and selection confirming their understanding of not only the BISSELL brand but the best approach to marketplace promotion and positioning.

XS Items developed A+ content for Amazon as well as tailored listings for eBay and OnBuy, to represent BISSELL consistently across all marketplaces.

In addition, a brand agreement was negotiated with eBay product management to ensure BISSELL acquired brand visibility on the Refurbished Hub marketplace.

A complete third-party solution was provided including inventory management, listing development and marketplace SEO, promotions, fulfilment and reporting of trends and competition.
